McDonald’s popular Halloween Happy Meal tradition is returning this 2023 spooky season: McDonald’s Halloween Buckets will return on October 17, 2023. Two new bucket designs have been added to the lineup: Vampire and mummy. There are four buckets coming with the Happy Meals. The two returning buckets are the orange McPunk’n and the green McGoblin. The two new buckets are the white McMummy and a purple McVampire.
You can get 1 bucket per Happy Meal order. They will be available while supplies last or until October 31st, whichever happens first.
The Halloween buckets are made of durable plastic and are perfect for storing candy, toys, or other small items. They come with a cardboard lid with stickers on the top to use as decoration for your bucket. First introduced in 1986, the trick-or-treat pails, known as “Boo Buckets,” were a Happy Meal staple of the spooky season for several years before they “vanished for a while.” Following a prolonged absence however, three iconic, throwback buckets returned for 2022 on Oct. 18.
Are the McDonalds Halloween buckets free?
McDonald’s Halloween Buckets are not free. They are included with the purchase of a Happy Meal. Happy Meals typically cost between $4 and $7, depending on your location. Using the McDonald’s Rewards app, you can get a free Happy Meal with the free Halloween bucket when you have 6,000 points.
Fun ways to use your McDonald’s Halloween Buckets:
– Fill them with candy and hand them out to trick-or-treaters.
– Use them to decorate your home for Halloween.
– Store toys, games, or other small items in them.
– Use them as planters for small flowers or succulents.
