Whole Foods is a great place to shop, but it’s also an amazing place to work! If you’ve been looking for a job change, or maybe just a part time position to pick up some extra cash, you’re in luck- Whole Foods is about to do some major hiring.
The grocery store chain was recently acquired by Amazon, and they’re ready to add more talent to their team, starting with a National Hiring Day Event on Thursday, November 2nd (tomorrow!).
If you’re available for the event, you can stop by your nearest Whole Foods for an interview and potentially get a job the same day!
Here are some tips to make sure you find success at the Hiring Event:
-Apply online before heading over. It will not only save you time, but also increase your chances of getting hired.
-Don’t worry about a resume, just show up ready to interview.
-Dress nice, but not too formal. Whole Foods has stated that the dress code for the event is casual.
-Learn Whole Foods’ core values and be prepared to discuss them (as well as your talents) for the interview.
-Get in touch with your nearest Whole Foods location to confirm interview times so you’re guaranteed to meet with a store manager.
Whole Foods is planning to hire around 6,000 people during this event, so there are lots of roles to fill. Hopefully one of them is right up your alley!
Some of the available jobs include:
-Seafood team member
-Cook
-Barista
-Cashier
-Bakery team leader
-Grocery team member
-Meat cutter
-Buyer specialist
We know what you’re thinking…what are the perks? Whole Foods employees get a 20% discount which starts on their first day! You’ll also receive health and dental benefits.
