Influenster is a product review platform. It sends thousands of free products in the mail to consumers in exchange for honest reviews. In November 2021, Influenster acquired TryIt Sampling, which is now a community within Influenster, where members can qualify to receive more free products. Products offered on the Influenster platform include beauty products, home decor products, computers, TVs, vacuums, kitchen appliances, toys, and other high-ticket items!

Types of Free Products Offered by Influenster:
1- VoxBoxes – Those are part of the original Influenster. VoxBoxes are Perfectly curated boxes of products sent to selected members based on their interests from some of the biggest and emerging brands. Products sent include many high end brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, L’Oréal, Kat Von D, BECCA Cosmetics, Maybelline, Fekkai, Tome Ford, Givenchy, Shiseido, Philosophy, Benefit, Smashbox, Dr Jart+, Gucci, Conair, Neutrogena, Revlon. To get a VoxBox, watch your inbox for an email with subject line “Want to get our next VoxBox?”. You will be asked to answer a qualification survey. If you, qualified, you will receive an email with subject “Get excited! We’re sending you a VoxBox.” You can also check the app.
2- Instant Opt-In – Those are part the TryIt Sampling acquisition. These are the types of campaigns you may pre-qualify for without taking a pre-survey. Products are high ticket products such as kitchen appliances, computers, all kinds of electronics, fashion and consumer products. To get those, watch for app notifications or an email notification (subject: Product Alert!) that a new product is available to you. Those go very fast so you need to act fast and claim the product once you get a notification.

3- Cashback or Deal – These exclusively digital campaigns eliminate waiting times by asking you to buy the product upfront and be reimbursed upon completion of your review.

Steps to Get a Product Box From Influenster:
1- You will receive emails with subject line: “Are you the perfect fit for our next campaign?”. Make sure you answer the questions in a timely manner.
If you qualify, you will receive a second email with subject line “You’re in!” or “VoxBox Alert! You’re getting one” or the name of the box you are receiving.
2- For free products alerts, you will receive both an email and a notification on your phone. These free products go very fast so act right away to claim these.

Tips to increase your chances of getting an Influenster VoxBox Box:
– Your demographics and profile answers play a major role in whether you are being offered some boxes. Make sure your profile is up to date.
– When you get a qualifying email for a box, make sure you answer asap.
– Connect your social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube and Twitter (it will improve your “Impact Score”). The more followers/friends, the better your chances of getting a box.
– Be active on the platform: answer questions, post reviews, post quality pictures.
– Keep checking your Social Impact Page. The higher your score, the more likely you’ll be chosen for a VoxBox. Here are two simple things you can do to increase it: (1) Connect your social accounts. Connecting all your accounts is the #1 way to boost your Social Impact (especially connecting Instagram) and (2) Invite your friends. For every friend you refer to Influenster, you’ll receive five (5) Impact points AS LONG AS THEY 1) sign up using your exact referral link and 2) connect their social media accounts. Just use your personal referral link (found by clicking or tapping “Invite Friends” on your Social Impact tab).
Once you get your first box, make sure to complete your review in a timely manner. Give your personalized truthful review of the product. The more details and the more information that will help consumers considering whether to buy the product or not, the better. Include a good quality picture.
I reached out to Influenster to ask them for tips to get more boxes and here is their reply:
What To Do When You Get a Box:
Step 1: Test Your Products – Don’t hold back, give your products a thorough test drive. After you’ve put them to the test, go to the Influenster app’s Samples page to look for your VoxBox.
Step 2: Your Honest Opinions – Each VoxBox comes with specific activities to do. It’s improtant to consult the app for these tasks, whether it’s sharing a review, posting an image, or a video. Remember, each completed task brings you closer to your next VoxBox.
Step 3: Concluding Remarks about your VoxBox experience.
To ensure a steady flow of VoxBoxes, make sure to complete the required activities and maintain an updated profile.
