The beloved tradition began in 1979 as cofounders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield survived their first winter – as a tiny, independent, two-person ice cream business – in the frozen tundra of Vermont.
To get your free cone(s), stop by a participating location on April 16, 2024 between 12pm and 8pm.
Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day flavors may vary based on location but fans are welcome to try any and all available flavors and are encouraged to get back in line as many times as they’d like! You can go back in line as many times as you want. Do you want 5 cones? go ahead! No purchase needed.
They gave out over 970,000 scoops across the globe in 2023 but they want to break 1 million scoops this year. More info in their press release.
