| Hmm. Life never does turn out the way that you want it to does it? But do not punish the child for something he does not have any control over. He is having problems as well so I say take him aside and talk to him at his level to see how he feels. I went through this with my son and even at age 5 he had a clear undestanding of his relationship with his father. It took a lot of tears and fears and it all worked out in the end. Kids are so remarkable and the father is the one that is missing out. Don't sweat the small stuff! |

| Good morning,I just read about your problem.I feel sorry that you as the parent of having to go through this.Also,for your son.He is young,true,but he needs a viable relationship with his father.I went through this with my own son.Go to the courts and fight for your son's rights. You will have to be his voice.If he hasn't done anymore than what you are saying,he probably wants to distance himself from both of you.He has a legal obligation.God bless.Hugs.andrea stanley |

| Ok I am seperated from my husband, it will be a year in June and then I can file for a divorce. We have a son together, and my son is living with me..My husband says that he loves his son very much but it takes everything I got to get him to talk to his son I mean I am the one that has to make the phone call for his son to talk to him. And another thing I ask him to send money for child support and he claims that all he can afford is to send maybe 20.00 every two weeks!! I just don't know I feel like he doesn't want a relationship with his son at all sometimes...My son is only Five and loves his father and always ask about him. I never once bad talk his father in front of him or to him!! I don't know what to think?? |
