| i was in a relationship with a wonderful trucker for 2 years.. unfortunately due his ex wife cheating on him and treating him bad he never fully trusted me.. altho i never gave him reason not to and was always there for him... miss him very much |

| I have been married to a truck driver for 17 years..the first 5 years were tough..we have three boys....so I always said I was a married, single mom...now after years of being OTR..he now drives local. We are a team and it has worked wonderful.... |

 Im a retired truck driver.. Yes it can be hard on a relationship,you must have trust and faith in your spouce..I unfortunatly,have a broken picker.
all my ex's cheated on me,witch lead to our split..Sit down and express your feelings to your otherhalf...
P.S... And "Not all truck drivers have a different port in every storm"...

| my hubby started driving truck in oct 2009 I had a really hard time with it he was gone for months at a time like he left in oct and I did not get to see him again till christmas.it really sucked. we had alot of trouble with the trust thing at first but if you can prove to him that you owuld never cheat on him you are going to hae to work on it it will not be easy but if you love him and he loves you it will work. but thank the good lord he just got a new job and he will be home alot more. and if you think you can not trust him go with him for a trip and see what it is like. I went out with my hubby for a month they don't have much time to do any thing besides eat sleep and drive. So be patient give it time see how things go. |

| well in in a relationship w/ a truck driver and it is not always easy, I don't know how military spouses deal with them being gone months at a time. all i can tell you is have trust and a little faith my guy is going to work and i have to think of it that way or i would go stir crazy. If you want to cheat go ahead and ruin the wonderful life you could have for a piece of a**! Better not date a salesman either!! |

| I need some thoughts on how do you keep a relationship with a truck driver. I have a friend that I like a lot, and can see a future with him, but he just started driving truck again. I want to see if we can work it out, but he has trust issues and thinks I might cheat on him. The question I have is should I just cut all convo with him now, or be patient and see how things work out??? What are your thoughts. |
