| I think the key to saving lots of money is clipping the coupons and then saving them until the item goes on sale which is usually about 3 weeks. You have to buy at least 2 papers with coupons and then clip and organize and save the coupons. Then you check the adds. I have 15 tubes of toothpaste that I got for free because they were on sale and I had a coupon that was doubled and they were free. The key is to stock up on the items when you can get them free or almost free. I am only just starting, but I have gotten toothbrushes, BBQ sauce, toilet paper, deo, marinade etc. free or close to free. So I do not have to buy those things anymore. Try to do this and then instead of shopping for what you are going to eat for the week, you eat from what you have in your pantry, fridge, freezer. You start shopping and buy what is on sale to stock your pantry. |

| I am a upset with the coupons now. i have alway been a coupon chipper.It use to be that you only had to buy one product to use the coupon. Now the give you a dollar off if you pay 3 boxes of cerial. Most cerials cost about 4 dollars. When you only had to buy one product, you got a chance to try it to see if you liked the product. The best coupon out there is the 85 cents off on a certain paper towel and it can be doubled . But once you try this paper towel , you'll love and save it for special things. |

| I see on the T.V. People spend $10.00 on a food bill that was $100.00. How do they do it? When I use coupons I only save like $12.00.I use the coupons on things that are on sale. What am I doing wrong? |
