I have been faithfully clipping coupons and printing and I brought them into Wal*Mart last night and they won't accept printed coupons because they are fake. They do not get reimbursed for them so they are not taking them. I am VERY upset about it!

Many stores stopped taking internet coupons shortly after they were developed. Not because they are fake, but because there are people out there who make counterfit coupons and try to redeem them. With the technology available today, the fakes look very real and may even scan. But the manufacturer won't reimburse the store for them. Call around to your local stores to see which accept internet coupons and which don't. Some Walmarts take them and some don't.

I live in Amarillo, Texas, and I just started using the online coupons. I have only redeemed them once - saving myself $15.00 on my Thanksgiving dinner groceries. I shopped at WalMart, and I had no problems using them. The checker didn't question them at all.

I have many WMs where I live, they have different policies. I'm having troubles listing the url to WM's coupon policy page. |

I read on coupon mom the same complaint about Walmart. Someone suggested printing the policy on coupons from Walmart's site, and taking it with you. If the cashier has a problem, take it to the manager. You can always refuse to shop at Walmart too. LOL People usually don't have a problem if they bring the store's policy and say- now, you aren't going to honor your policy? I think another way around it is to use the self checkouts.

I have had the same problem at Walmart but not just with printed coupons. I have gone to Walmart with coupons from ads in the news paper and they will not accept those too.

Never had any problems at Wal-Mart. We use $40 to $50 in coupons each visit. Wal-Mart's policy is they do accept them. Do not try to let them tell you they do not.
