have you tried, urine be gone? it gets out the odor and they don't smell it again so they don't go there again. Check it out, hope it helps. Or try Simple Solution, you can get that at a pet store, it's made to get odors out.
Good Luck.

Try using vinigar. The smell of the vinigar goes away after a few hours and the smell of the pee goes with it. My mom used to have lots of dogs and cats and whenever there was an accident, vinigar always kept our house smelling pee free.

| Just rem not to use any smelly cleaners...including vinegar in a litterbox or around it...or the cat(s) may not use it because of the smell....then they will go somewhere else. |

| Cover up the couch smell with perfume, sell it to someone on craigslist and buy a new sofa. Once the pets start peeing on things and you don't catch it right away, it seeps into the core of anything - even concrete floors. Once it gets in there it is near impossible to get out. Especially if it's in the wood framing of your house or sofa! |

Buy a new couch, and don't let your dog lay on it.

Lemon Juice
Use 1/4 cup lemon juice in the rooms that smell. Put the juice in a cup an place it in the rooms and just wait. Days will go by and the lemon juice will absorb the smell. After a week dump the lemon juice down the drain to kept it smelling good also, and start with a fresh cup in all the rooms again. you will notice the change. |

ditto scott00unfortunately, if your dog peed on a cushion--the smell is now inside of the stuffing or whatever your couch is made of.
just like when a cat pees on the carpet-the only true way to get the smell is out to rip out the carpet and padding and replace it.
You can try calling a local dry cleaners and see if they can recommend anything to get the smell out.
I tried everything I could to get cat pee out of our carpet a few years ago, we had to tear out the whole carpet.
(the cat is an outdoor cat now!) |

nature's miracle is wonderful- used it on a mattress when one of my cats got locked in a bedroom...soak it, let it try, and soak it again...NEVER use heat (such as a steam cleaner) on animal "spots"- the heat cooks the smell in! (yeah, I learned that one too late).
Good luck! |

| animals do not belong where people live. My dogs in the backyard, with their houses, blankets, toys, food, water. If you allow animals to live inside of your house, be prepared to accept them the way they are. |

awesome does work wonders and animals can be kept inside they just need trained properly. or taken to the vet to make sure they don't have a bladder infection that makes them not be able to hold it. Good luck buy a cage until it learns not to pee inside! |

| When it comes to trying to sell a house, it doesn't matter what you think your house smells like. Only what the potentual buyer thinks. So get intouch with a company that specializes in odor control. Example: fire odor. There are many companies that specialize in disastor restoration. So how do they get the odor out "OZONE" They can set up an ozone machine in an empty house. There will be no odor when they finish. No animal odor, no pee odor, no personal odor. I'm certified in odor control thru IICRC. I worked for Service Master for 5 years, as well as ServPro. And ozoned many, many, homes for pet odor. Hope this helps. |

| For odor control, if it is cat odor use a litter such as Arm & Hammer which has superb odor control. If your cat urinates in the house DO NOT use amonia to clean it up. The primary chemical in urine is amonia. If you use this to clean the cat will use the area many times over.I found the best thing for cleaninig upchucks and urine is Oxy Solution (PetSmart) it takes the smell and spots out immediately. If you want to keep your pet off the furniture put foil across the entire seat. Most animals, especially cats, do not like the sound of foil when they jump on it. Eventually, they will stay off the couch or whatever furniture you put it on. I am an animal behaviorist and specialize in care, maintenance and trining of pet cats. |
