| I wonder if there is any prescription help for me and my husband? He's retired and I'm on disability. I take a lot of medication, because of diabetes and I take Insulin. I have medicare and a secondary insurance, but that payment is 1000.00. And my medication copay is almost as expensive as the payment for the insurance. You can imagine if I didn't have the other ins. Also some of the generic is more expensive than the original medication. |

In my area you can get help from the "free clinic"
Also call your local health dept. Your Dr shoul also be able to get you with the drug companies info. |

There are a lot of programs that will give discounts on drugs...also generics....and if the doctor gives you one that is not generic have him find one that is....the pharmacist can help you with which ones have generic equivalents

| if you contact the companies you have prescriptions for they may be able to help pay for your prescriptions. It doesn't hurt to try. Some help is better than going without the meds you need. |

| My wife and I are both retiered and I am in a wheelchair. that is why my wife retired was to stay at home to help me with the everyday things that I can't do by myself. We are on several medications that are not generic and the insurance company raised their co psys so I can't even pay for them. Then whe i hit what they call the doughtnut hole I pay nthe full pric for the non generic meds i realy need and most of them run over $200 each of the several I take. |

| How does one find a place to get their Perscription medication if you don't hsve the money to pay for them. I guse you have to quit eating or wht ever to stay on their meds |
