| As long as your not the bride, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a black dress. It's very dressy, classy and can be very sexy. Go for it!!! And feel confident that you look fab!!!!!!! |

My best advice would be to simply ask the bride and groom. If they don't mind, then that's all that matters.
Both my mother and the mother of the groom wore black dresses at our wedding. My groom thought that it might be morbid or something, but in reality they both felt very beautiful being able to pick their favorite "little black dress". |

| I just went to a wedding and over half of the guess had black dresses on, go for it, what you like and look good in is up to you not no one else |

| Only two colors are unacceptable at a wedding - RED and WHITE/IVORY/CREAM. I had my bridesmaids in little black dresses. They have worn them multiple times since my wedding - best bridesmaid dress ever. |

| Black is actually the new fashion for weddings. I know this because I work in women's retail. |

 I am old fashion and i got married in a black wedding dress that was made out of taffia and black silk,My marriage did not work out,When I get married again I am going to consider this my first true wedding and I will be in white. |
