Hi, I'd love to see more samples of concealers. I have dark circles under my eyes and I have yet to find a good concealer, that covers well but still looks natural. Ladies, if any of you has any good recommendations for concealers. Let me know :) Thanks!

I can tell you not to use bare minerals. It's great makeup, but does not conceal well!

Vitamin K, which is NOT sold in pharmacies. (Apparently, it's dangerous, if ingested), however, there is a product at the drugstore with Vitamin K advertised, right on the box. It is a little pot, and you use it twice a day.

I use an Avon product that you just dab around the eyes and gently blend in. Then follow up with foundation and pressed powder. I only use a light coat of each so it doesn't look cakey.

OK, don't laugh......I have seen and heard of people using hemorriod cream under their eyes. It reduces swelling which can cause the darkening of the skin. Just put it on before you apply your make-up. Allow to sit on for a few minutes before applying make-up. You may still need to use a concealer, but they should work better when used with the cream. : )

You should try DermaBlend makeup. You only have to use a little at a time and it covers everything. It's water-proof and has never caused me to breakout. I use a little underneath my foundation and it covers even the worst discoloration or blemish perfectly and for all day. The jar it comes in lasts forever because you don't use much.

I 3rd the suggestion of dermablend. Use it as the base and then apply foundation as usual. In my case I use Bare Escentuals and with the dermablend I get great results.
I suggest googling it and searching for it online. (And more shade choices)
You also get better deals/prices for it online than if bought in a retail store. |

Estee Lauder has a concealer similar to dermablend it comes in a blue little bottle called maximum cover camouflage makeup. I have a blemish under my eye due to melasma from my last pregnancy that never went away and this stuff covers it completely! Its similar to dermablend and you have to use tons of moisturizer underneath. The sales lady at macy's said people usually buy it to cover tattoos on speacial occasions.

Clinique has a concealer called Advanced Concealer in a green tube and I have used this for the last 15 yrs or so and it is fabulous. You have to pick the color that is right for you, but I have light skin and I use the Matte Light. I have tried everything on the market and have found no better. It runs about $14 to $15. Go by the counter and ask for a sample to take home or try the sampler at the counter. You will love it!

I love my MAC concealer for my dark circles. It works really well. Plus like the other poster said you can try before you buy. But after listening to the raves about dermablend I might give that a try.

I've had really great results with a product from the benefit concealer. I just blends so perfectly. It's only about 18 dollars. A little more than most would spend, but it does the job especially when you work two jobs and have little sleep.
