Got any recommendations for a good concealer? Created by : laure     Date/time : October 16, 2007 9:06am
The Bare Minerals or Physician's Formula is the best. I cannot wear any Avon or Mary Kay as my face rejects it and I have an allergic reaction to their products. Sorry reps but it is true.Plus there are too many things in their products that I cannot identify but they make me break out! I have never had any problems with Bare Minerals or Physician's Formula ever so you might want to try it. I found mine at Walgreens.

I really like all the answers but it would be nice if you could contact the person and ask them questions as it helps when you are shopping.

I wouldn't use Mary Kay either. It contains parabens and the consultant will most likely try to recruit you.

To get the best results from ANY stick style or in the pot style concealer, is to apply it with a concealer brush. I have been using good old Erase, I believe it's CG, but the diffence is using a brush. Try it, you'll be surprised.

If you wanna try a brand that doesn't cost much, try N.Y.C. (New York Color), the yellow, covers up dark circles great, used with a little powder it works great.

I use maybeline mineral power foundation (the powder version) I take an eyeshadow brush and brush it under the eyes, and it works well. Then I use the foundation on the rest of my face the powder brush. Hope this helps, it's like $8 at wal-mart.

Bare Minerals! Start with Prime Time(foundation primer) a little of the concealer applied with concealer brush and then the foundation and the miracle veil. The prime time foundation primer is a miracle in itself. You might also try the rever-upper for your skin.
There are times of the month that dark circles are sure noticeable...but a good way to combat any dark circles is plenty of sleep. Good luck!

I've had really great results with a product from the benefit concealer. I just blends so perfectly. It's only about 18 dollars. A little more than most would spend, but it does the job especially when you work two jobs and have little sleep.

I love my MAC concealer for my dark circles. It works really well. Plus like the other poster said you can try before you buy. But after listening to the raves about dermablend I might give that a try.

Mary Kay has an excellent concealer. If you go to Marykay.com it will refer you to a local rep who I know would be happy to get a free sample to you right away.
